What we do when we are not training

Aikido classes Oxford

Christmas Party

At Koushinkan Aikido Oxford we have a very active social side to the club.

Throughout the year we get together to celebrate a number of different occasions – birthdays, club events … We don’t need an excuse. As a club member you will always be included. We also hope that you will bring along your partner and family.

High Ropes, Oxford

A group of adult and cadet students did the High Ropes challenge on 21st May.

Here is a small selection of photos of the event:

Lake District Challenge

We did a charity walk in the Lake District on August 29th/30th. The walk was to raise money for a local charity – Helen & Douglas House. The charity provides hospice & palliative care to children and young adults in Oxfordshire & surrounding counties. The walk was a 15 mile hike from Low Hall Garth over Crinkle Crags and down to Little Langdale. A big thank you to everyone who took part and who donated.

Here is a video of the walk:

Children’s social events

Each year we hold a Christmas Party for our children’s classes. We also have various other social events and activities for all age groups.
